Nyx Total Control Drop Foundation Review

Hello, back with a review with the new NYX total control drop foundation. I have heard so many good reviews about this new foundation, so I thought I would give it a shot. So onto the foundation, I think I have mentioned before I have really oily skin and some dry patches on my face. So for me, a good foundation should be able to provide a full coverage and should not settle into fine lines.

nyx

Packaging: This foundation comes in a small dropper style frosted glass bottle and the dropper allows control on amount of product dispensation.

Consistency: The foundation is a very thin and liquid-y but it is all pure pigment, so this foundation goes a long way.

Shades: this foundation has some pretty good shade range for a drugstore product. It is available in 24 shades from light to very dark. I’m the shade ALABASTER

Coverage: the pipette-style bottle allows you find you perfect coverage. 2 drops = Sheer, 3 Drops = Medium coverage and 4 drops = full coverage.

If you have stubborn spots, you might need to cover up with a full coverage concealer.

my full overview, so this formula is very light and thin which makes it look breathable and light on the skin. The finish is velvety matte and longevity is pretty good for a drugstore foundation. This foundation lasted me all day so like 8-10 hours. On the other hand I would always recommend to exfoliate your skin before using thin foundation or it might look weird on your skin. I also tested this foundation on two days amd I found it does cling to any dry spots.

Lastly the price, this foundation is available for £14 and can be purchased in your local boots store.

Until next time….

      1. I love that about Nyx! I haven’t used any of their foundations in a long time. The last one used a couple of years ago, was the Matte but not Flat. I liked it then 🙂 x

  1. Woow. I heard a lot of good reviews pf this foundation. I love nyx products but this one is too “matte” for my dry skin. I hope they will come up with some hydrating foundation
